SB 2400 - Private School Vouchers
Senate Bill 2400 was introduced by Senator Axtman and would have created Education Savings Accounts (ESAs), coming at a cost of nearly $120,000,000 for just one year. While SB 2400 made an effort to provide some support to all kids, it also would have given more money to private school families based on a means test against the federal poverty limit and would have allowed that money to go to tuition.
ND United OPPOSED this bill.
SB 2400 FAILED in the Legislature.
